Writing a genuinely tailored application takes AI computing power, and that costs real money. Most tools hide that cost inside a subscription and mark it up. We don't. You connect your own account with an AI provider — Anthropic's Claude, Google's Gemini, or OpenAI's ChatGPT — and you pay them directly: their prices, no markup, no middleman, and no way for us to see your data in transit.
That's also why the app can be free. We don't resell computing power, and we don't resell you.
What about the dashboard?
The Windows app works completely on its own — it needs nothing else. If you'd like to watch its progress from your phone (jobs found, drafts written, interviews scheduled), the Android dashboard shows you everything in real time. It's a one-time purchase, and it's the only money we ever ask you for.
No subscription exists, so there's nothing to cancel. If you stop using CareerSeeker, you stop paying your AI provider automatically — that billing was always yours, not ours.
